Depending on card platform used, prepaid expense cards can be "loaded" and "unloaded" or spending limit "increased" and decreased" with company funds. For example, company funds are loaded when manager approves business travel estimate and unloaded day after returns from business trip. Prepaid expense cards are issued by banks to small, medium, and large companies that meet bank requirements, issued to companies who want to automate expense report process, and issued to employees who use as payment for approved to company approved expenses.
