The mark consists of a horizontal bar which has yellow across the bottom and gradually gets darker as it changes to orange across the top of the bar. At the right end of the bar a yellow sun design overlays the bar with two eyes showing black pupils, the whites of the eyes and a black outline, a nose, a mouth, and two eyebrows, all outlined in black. Inside the circular portion of the sun, the yellow gets darker around outer edge just inside the black outline, and the rays of the sun also include some darker shades of yellow. At the left end of the bar is the wording "ARIZONA GOLD" shown in white.
