On the white circle appears, stacked from the background to the foreground, an inverted, vertical, light and dark gray talking trumpet; on which is overlaid horizontally a downfacing axe with a tan and brown handle and a red head with a white and light gray blade; on which is overlaid a tan ladder and a black hook pike with a tan handle crossed as an X; on which is overlaid horizontally a red fire helmet; all of which are centered in the middle of the white circle. The mark consists of the stylized letters S, F, J, and D, with each letter being the color orange enclosed in an inner thin line of red and then an outer thin line of blue, with the S, F, and J (in that order) superimposed above the D, the J slightly overlapping the F, and the F slightly overlapping the S; the F being slightly larger in font than the S and J, and the S and J in turn being slightly larger in font than the D.
