The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of a bottle shown from multiple angles. At the top of the bottle is a tan bottle cap with the words "MIDLETON VERY RARE" written around the side of the top. The very top of the bottle is red with orange ridges making an outer circle and a brown and tan circle inside that, and a thin orange circle inside that. Inside that thin orange circle is a red circle with the wording "02 70 CL 3172 CL E 57 mm" in orange letters. The neck of the bottle has a black label with one gold band at the top and two gold bands at the bottom. The center of the neck label has overlapping letters "M", "V" and "R" in the colors white, gold, and brown. Placed in the center of the letters is a horizontal brown floral staff. At the bottom of the neck of the bottle there is an indentation creating a diamond shape. On the face of the bottle, there is a black rectangular label that has curved lines tapering up on the top side of the label. The black label contains two thin gold lines at the top and two thin gold lines at the bottom and nested in the center at the top is a floral design in white. Below the black label is a white label that is wider at the top than the bottom. On the back of the bottle is another white label that is wider at the top than the bottom and contains a black rectangle at the base of the label. The mark consists of symmetrical four-sided figure with straight bottom and sides and a rounded top edge. At the top of the label are green, gold, and white borders. Below that is the word "JAMESON" in large black capital letters with a gold outline that makes the letters appear three-dimensional. The letters are arranged in the shape of an arch. Underneath that is a red shield with a gold and black outline. The top edge of the shield extends out in points to the left and right, and the bottom edge of the shield comes to a point in the center. The shield is crossed diagonally by two gold and red bands. Overlapping the upper quadrant of the shield is a triple-masted sail boat in gold with black outlines. In the left and right quadrants formed by the diagonal bands is a gold anchor on each side. In the bottom quadrant is a gold and black star. Under the shield is a gold and red ribbon or banner outlined in black with the words "SINE METU" in black. Below the shield and ribbon are the words "TRIPLE DISTILLED" in black script. The background of this entire section of the label is cream colored. Below that, along the bottom of the label, are a narrow gold border, a wide green stripe, and a narrow lighter green border. At the bottom left of the label, a red seal with gold and green borders overlaps the wide green stripe. On the red seal are the words "JJ&S JOHN JAMESON & SON LIMITED" in cream colored letters. To the right of the seal is the signature "JOHN JAMESON & SON" in gold script. Extending to the right of the seal, the wide green stripe has numerous parallel lighter green lines running across it.

The mark consists of a white colored vertical strip. Around the bottom of the strip is a green seal with the letters "JJ&S" at the center in white surrounded by a white colored circular border. Outside the border, around the top edge of the seal, is the wording "JOHN JAMESON" in white, and around the bottom edge of the seal is the wording "& SON LIMITED", also in white, with white dots separating the upper and lower wording above a four-sided label with the background of the label is cream colored, with two curved green lines at the top of the label. Below that is the word "JAMESON" in curved black lettering and outlined in gold, below which is a design of a spirit safe. Below that are the words "THE DISTILLER'S SAFE" in green lettering with a gold outline, with two horizontal green lines under the word "THE", and the design of a cream and gold colored fingerprint. At the bottom of the label are two green horizontal lines. The broken lines depicting the outline of the bottle and the top of the bottle indicate placement of the mark on the goods and are not part of the mark and the mark does not include the wording JOHN JAMESON & SON etched on the actual bottle.

The mark consists of two elements arranged vertically. The upper element consists of a shield-shaped label that is wider than it is high. It is very slightly rounded across the top edge and curves down on either side to a point at the bottom of the label. Across the top edge of the shield are two borders which follow the entire outline of the shield down to the bottom point. The outer border is black and the inner border is gold. At the top left and right corners of the inner border of the shield a third border begins, very narrow at the top, and widening as it follows the outer edge and the two outer borders down the sides of the shield. It also comes to a point at the bottom of the label. This innermost border is green. Of the three borders, the outer black one is the widest, and the inner green one is the narrowest. The background of the shield inside the borders is black. Across the top of the shield in large lettering is the word "POWERS" in white lettering with a partial outline in gold that gives the letters a three-dimensional appearance. The word "POWERS" is curved slightly like the top edge of the shield, so that the beginning and end letters are slightly lower than the "W" and "E" in the middle of the word. Below that, extending nearly the same width across the shield as the word "POWERS" are the words "SINGLE POT STILL IRISH WHISKEY" in much smaller white letters. These words are also shaped into a curve that is slightly higher in the center and lower on the outside edges. Below those words in the center of the shield is the gold letter "P" within a gold diamond. On either side of the gold letter "P" within a gold diamond are two parallel rays, the top ray being slightly longer than the bottom ray, which extend out from and touch the left and right sides of the gold diamond. The rays are gold in color and the top ray extends out to the same width as the words above. The rays are wider on the side that is near the gold diamond and taper to points at their outer edges. Between the parallel rays to the left of the gold diamond is the abbreviation "ESTD" in gold and to the right is the date "1791" in gold. Below that, centered below gold diamond, are the words "SIGNATURE" in medium-sized white lettering with a partial outline in gold that gives the letters a three-dimensional appearance. Below those words is the word "Release" in somewhat gold script. The top of the "R" in "Release" overlaps the "N" in "SIGNATURE" and the top of the "L" in "Release" overlaps the "T" in "SIGNATURE". The lower element consists of a rectangular-shaped label with a thin gold band at the top. This label is on a black background. Below the gold band and centered on this label are the words "SINGLE POT STILL" with "IRISH WHISKEY" centered below it. To the left of the wording "SINGLE POT STILL" and "IRISH WHISKEY" is the wording "ESTD." in gold with a gold band of equal length and width appearing above and below the lower gold band under such wording is the date "1791" in white with a gold band appearing below it. Approximately one-third of the way from the top of this label is a rectangle with a gold border. The background of this rectangle is green with darker green on the left and right sides of this rectangle which fade in to progressively lighter green in the middle. Centered on this background appears an image of three swallows in flight each in dark green. The words "JOHN POWER & SON" in gold script appear below the center and right birds.
