On the top bulge and inside the red border is the wording "1966" in gold and on the bottom bulge inside the red border are two golden tobacco leaves touching at the stem. Inside the oblong shape and the red border is another oblong shape in gold with a black oval in the middle. On the left side of the black oval is the wording "JALAPA" in black and on the right side is the wording "NICARAGUA" in black. The inside of the black oval has the wording "ESCORCIA" in stylized text.

The mark consists of the term ESCORCIA in the center of the cigar band with 1966 above and the term JALAPA to the left of center and NICARAGUA to the right of center and the design of two tobacco leaves under the center.
