The mark consists of a yellow background with green borders on each side. There are three red vertical lines representing the military Vietnam service bar, in the middle. A camouflage soldier's helmet tilted to the left is placed over the three horizontal lines. The helmet has an Ace of Spade card strapped to the front of the helmet and three bullet shells to its left side. To the left of the bullet shells is an image of a soldier in brown, wearing a helmet. Above the bullet shells the words, "DEAR VIETNAM VET" are inscribed on the helmet with "VIETNA" in VIETNAM in between the Ace of Spade card and the three bullet shells.
