The mark consists of a traditional fire department style Maltese cross with an American flag in the background of the center circle. In the center of the circle is a cartoon style Dalmatian wearing a firefighter's helmet and a cut off (muscle) shirt with an armband on its muscular arm. The Dalmatian is holding a drinking mug in its gloved hand and leaning against the right side of the inner circle. The stylized text "SODA CITY" is inside a band below the upper wing of the Maltese cross. The stylized text "FIRE DEPT." is inside a band above lower wing of the Maltese cross.
