The sword is arranged vertically and bisects the vertical length of the cross. The sword consists of a gold-colored hilt, with a green shamrock located within a silver pommel. The guard of the sword is red with silver outline. Identical dog heads with mouths agape are located at the each edge of the guard. The dogs are green, with gold snout and mouth. The red with silver outline portion of the guard also comprises a portion of a larger, red with silver outline circle that surrounds the intersecting parts of the larger cross. The cross is outlined in silver. The upper section of the vertical portion of the cross above the intersection point red with a silver outline. The blade of the sword, which is colored silver, sits atop the longer, lower section of the vertical portion of the cross, and is bisected by a black line that terminates just before the tip of the blade. This lower section of the cross and the horizontal element of the cross are green, within a silver outline, and contain a green-colored Celtic knot pattern. The intersection of the cross contains a blue circle with a gold-colored harp. The strings of the harp are colored black. | |
