1254140 14 Apr 2005 | on 14 Sep 2006 | Class 035 Class 035 Advertising, Business & Retail Services Promoting the business, professional and general well-being of people of East Indian origin who have immigrated to Canada from around the world by: (b) hosting events to assist members and guests to access the Canadian job market or transition their career from one jurisdiction to another; (c) hosting business & trade networking events attended by both members & non-members; and (d) coordinating government relations on matters of interest to the Indo-Canadian community; (2) promoting better press coverage of the achievements of Indo-Canadians;(3) fostering international commerce between Canada and the Indian subcontinent as well as other countries by: (a) serving as a referral resource to Canadian-based businesses interested in selling goods and/or services to Indian businesses; (b) serving as a referral resource to Indianbased businesses interested in selling goods and/or services to Canadian businesses; (c) introducing Indian businesses to their counterparts in Canada and vice versa; and (e) liasing with the Canadian and Indian federal, provincial or state governments (and their respective non-governmental agencies) on matters relevant to Indo-Canadians including: (i) immigration and visa policies; (ii) recognition of foreign credentials; (iii) removal of barriers to the free flow of goods and services between India and Canada; and (iv) participating in Canadian trade missions to India and hosting Indian trade missions in Canada Class 041 Class 041 Education and Entertainment Services Promoting the business, professional and general well-being of people of East Indian origin who have immigrated to Canada from around the world by: (a) conducting seminars on business, trade, tax, import/export, technology, outsourcing for members and guests, with a specific focus on the needs of Indo-Canadians or India-Canada trade; (2) providing recognition of the achievements of youth, business professionals and community leaders of East Indian origin by conducting annual awards events; (3) fostering international commerce between Canada and the Indian sub-continent as well as other countries by: (d) hosting seminars in Canada and India on how to take advantage of the Canada-India trade corridor; | |
