Services of providing a national structure for provincial and territorial medical regulatory authorities to present and pursue issues of common concerns and interest and to share, consider and develop positions on such matters, namely, creating and maintaining an effective forum, namely by regularly convening the provincial and territorial medical regulatory authorities for Members for the exchange of information, reporting on issues related to the regulation of medical practice, working with the medical regulatory and medical education communities, both nationally and internationally to develop and advance national perspectives on matters relating to registration, licensure and regulation of medical practice, advancing national standards for assessment of initial competence for licensure and continuing competence for medical practice, working with the medical regulatory and medical education communities, both nationally and internationally to undertake projects of shared interest to the Members in collaboration with other national agencies.
