Development and Process Commercialization of a steam and/or solvent (carbon dioxide - CO2, solvents or surfactant/CO2 foam) technologies to increase oil production whereby an existing vertical well is recompleted with deviated lateral producing sections, termed "short radials"; The process can be run as a cyclic injection/production strategy whereby two sections of short radials are stacked on top of one another or staggered line drive of laterally and vertically offset well pairs are used to achieve thermal or solvent-based gravity drainage oil recovery. The process can be further developed and screened for applicability to individual reservoirs (unconsolidated sands, fractured reservoirs etc.) through numerical simulation. Injection, namely the injection of steam and/or solvents, including CO2 to increase oil production; Production, namely the enhanced production of oil through a cyclic or continuous steam and/or solvent injection using the CSSR process; Recycling of cyclic or continuous injection carbon dioxide and/or solvent; Training services and educational programs, namely seminars, workshops, lectures and reports in the field of increased oil production utilizing the aforementioned technologies; Consulting services, namely consulting on environmentally responsible oil and gas production technologies; Testing Programs, namely programs to test the cost-effectiveness of oil and gas production system using the CSSR process; and Research on the application of CSSR and field screening.
