Elaborating and implementing an environmental program governing members of the pulp and paper industry's attitude and actions with respect to environmental considerations and performance, with an ultimate goal of integrating environmental considerations into all business decisions; elaborating and implementing environmental guiding principles, codes of practise and performance measures applicable to members of the pulp and paper industry; conducting audits for the assessment of environmental performance amongst members of the pulp and paper industry; participating in public consultations to defend environmental considerations.
