1) Providing leadership and hands-on technical training in the Tibetan Plateau region in the area of wildlife conservation and environmental protection; 2) Providing basic medical training for front-line health workers ('village doctors') in the Tibetan Plateau region of western China; 3) Assisting in the building and establishment of local village clinics and staffing them, where possible, with graduates of our village-doctor training programme; 4) Providing emergency assistance in times of natural disaster, namely relief food, clothing & blankets, medical supplies, emergency medical teams and rehabilitation assistance; 5) Supporting education initiatives in the Tibetan Plateau region, namely through the development of schools for nomadic peoples; 6) Supporting poverty alleviation initiatives in the Tibetan Plateau region
