This product line was established in January 2004, and is being embraced enthusiastically by our many clients; Job Performance Aids (JPAs) offer significant improvements in the way many work tasks will be accomplished in the future; Regardless of how these multimedia reference tools are made available to users (via the Internet, CDs, USB storage devices, imbedded in electronic publications, etc;), they will greatly enhance performance and virtually eliminate confusion and mistakes by making it possible for workers to see a job actually being performed correctly; ;step by step; Navigation within a JPA is extremely user friendly; Instructions are clearly represented on the left side of the screen, while the right side is reserved for graphics; Through the use of slider bars, roll-over tabs, a limited number of navigation buttons, and even the implementation of a pen tool feature (which will allow for instructor-led use of the JPA), these digital aids offer a great deal of flexibility in tackling even the most complex jobs easily; Users are able to immediately reference pop-up windows within a JPA to help access illustrations, photos, 2-D drawings, warnings, cautions, notes, or any other information needed to do the job; Other JPA-Related Products and Services Other business opportunities resulting from the production of JPAs will consist of a wide range of products and services needed to provide a full-suite of information management tools for our federal clients; These include-- Job Performance Clips Video, CAD drawings, illustrations, photos, or any other media that can be inserted into traditional print materials or electronic documents that aid in understanding, but represent something short of a stand-alone JPA; From this portal, a host of badly needed, technically-focused communities of information management will grow, all of which is managed by our company; Standards and Specifications Develop and maintain military and non-military JPA standards; Duplication and Distribution Provide all duplication and distribution services for JPA related products; This will include tailoring services to unique use requirements; For example, if an agency needs a JPA on a media that can be used in a sandy environment where CD drives do not function well, JPAs would be supplied on USB pens; Another example might include low bandwith restrictions that necessitate JPAs be shipped on CDs, rather than made available via the Internet; IETMs Simplify the complexity of certain JPAs and reduce development costs to the client by offering supportive Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs); In some cases the combination of an IETM with a series of Job Performance Clips is a much more efficient and effective approach than one complex JPA
